I did not break out from the first two masks, thank the good Lord. Because both were brightening masks, I decided it's now time to experiment with something more risky: a moisturizing mask. Oily skin with acne is tricky to moisturize. Even when a product claims to be non-comedogenic, trouble skin can still go out of whack and just decide to break out. So now we are crossing our fingers and just hope for the best.
Today we review a mask from a funky range of masks, also bought from Watsons for about P50. The package is designed with animals and they go as funky as funky gets:
Because it looks every bit as creepy as the previous mask, I had to shut my door and hope nobody needs to see me for the next half an hour. This, to me, takes away a big part of the relaxation process so negative points there. If you live in a home where people, especially children, can get spooked by this craziness, I suggest you stay away from printed masks. I don't know, it's probably just me, but printed masks give me the killer clown vibe. Weird. And totally random, sorry.
The essence smells really good. It's not overpowering. Texture is just right, not too runny, not sticky. After putting the mask on my face, I was able to squeeze the package and get enough essence to put on my arms.
What it says at the back:
Yay to the readable parts.
I love that there's enough information especially on the Ingredients section. Nowhere does it say that it's non-comedogenic so I'm a little freaked. But we'll know in the next 24 hours if my skin reacts.
There, I have just taken it off my face. My skin feels refreshed. I was surprised to see how much essence is sitting on my face. There are globs of it. I squeezed the sheet and was able to get enough product to put on my calves. Am now just waiting for everything to get absorbed so I can sleep.
Updating this.
